Saintgits is the only one college in Kerala to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ANSYS.Here we have 400 Student Licence and 40 Research License for the use of our under graduate,post graduate and Ph.D students. These are installed in high capacity systems available at our labs. These facilities are also open to external students, on paying a nominal fees.

ANSYS HFSS software is the industry standard for simulating high-frequency electromagnetic fields. Its gold-standard accuracy, advanced solvers and high-performance computing technologies make it an essential tool for engineers tasked with executing accurate and rapid design in high-frequency and high-speed electronic devices and platforms. ANSYS Maxwell is the industry-leading electromagnetic field simulation software for the design and analysis of electric motors, actuators, sensors, transformers and other electromagnetic and electromechanical devices. With Maxwell, you can precisely characterize the nonlinear, transient motion of electromechanical components and their effects on the drive circuit and control system design. By leveraging Maxwell’s advanced electromagnetic field solvers and seamlessly linking them to the integrated circuit and systems simulation technology, you can understand the performance of electromechanical systems long before building a prototype in hardware. Setting up of facilities: ANSYS will provide all support for setting up of an “ANSYS sponsored” laboratory at SCE in advanced areas as per the needs of SCE and the terms & conditions in this regard may be worked out on mutual agreement.
Industrial Training & Internship programs: ANSYS may offer Industrial training to students and inhouse internship program for faculty members of Electronics, Electrical, Civil & Mechanical branches of SCE on regular basis in their respective software tools.
Student Projects: ANSYS may offer B.Tech./ M.Tech. projects to SCE students which may be carried out under the guidance of ANSYS engineers/scientists.
Pre-placement Training: The students of B.Tech. programme may be given pre-placement training on relevant technical skills under a programme designed as per market requirement at that time.
Support in Teaching-Learning: Wherever possible, support each other in different teaching, research, development and professional training activities. ANSYS may offer expertise in formulating methods for bridging the gap between curriculum & Industry.
Joint Conferences: Organising joint conferences, seminars, workshops, professional development programmes, training programmes etc.
ANSYS will support co-direction and/or co-supervision of Ph.D thesis of faculty members as well as research scholars.
Any other activity of common interest suggested by either of the two parties.
12.Faculty Training: ANSYS may offer free software training for 1 faculty from the departments of Electronics, Electrical, Civil & Mechanical branches of SCE on regular basis for a period of 5 years.
