Eventhough the seats are not available for some branches as on date, future vacancies may arise due to exercise of higher options. Candidates are therefore advised to attend the counselling according to their ranks as per schedule and join the waiting list.

INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES REGISTERING IN THE WAITING LIST 1. Waiting list registration is open only after the seats in a particular branch are fully allotted. Candidates who are not getting allotment in a particular branch at the time of their counseling can register in the waiting list in that branch or other branches. Candidates who get allotment in a particular branch can also register their higher options in the waiting list in any other branches. Candidates who are absent at the time of counseling are not permitted to register for waiting list later.
2. All options registered by the candidates is processed according to the rank of the candidate and if a candidate gets allotment to a particular branch he/she is bound to accept it, failing which he/she will lose the allotment as well as the claim for any seat.
3. Candidates are requested to exercise proper care while filling up the higher options form at the time of counseling. Rearranging the options given at the time of counseling will not be permitted later.
4. Cancellation of higher options is permitted. To cancel higher option, candidates have to give written request to the allotment officer at the college office well in advance before the subsequent allotment .
5. Ensure that the contact telephone number given at the time of waiting list registration is working and that a responsible person is available to receive communication at any time.
6. It is to be strictly noted that, after being contacted to accept admission, if the candidate fails to turn up before 4p.m the following day after intimation, all claims regarding admission stands cancelled.
7. For confirmation of admission, candidates are requested to bring all the fees required to be paid by way of DD in favour of PRINCIPAL, SAINTGITS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING payable at CHANGANACHERRY along with all certificates positively before 4 p. m. on the following day after intimation, failing which the claim of admission stands cancelled.
8. Candidates have to get written consent from the Director at Corporate Office for claims of refund/return of furnished documents if the allotment is subsequently cancelled. Refunds will be made only through A/C payee Cheque in the name of the candidate/parents. |
