National Conference on Frontier Research Areas in Computing

National Conference on Frontier Research Areas in Computing (NCFRAC) provide a platform for Faculty members, Researchers and those from industry to present their research findings, interact and be exposed to the frontier research areas in Computing. Department of Computer Science & Engineering and MCA host this conference every year.

NCFRAC'09

In cooperation with IEEE and Computer Society of India- Cochin Chapter, Department of CSE & MCA @ SAINTGITS organized NCFRAC'09 on 21^st February 2009. The Director of SAINTGITS Mr. Thomas T John, in his presidential address, expressed the importance of innovative research in education. This function was inaugurated by Dr. Jyothi John, open source proponent and Principal of College of Engineering, Adoor. He delivered inaugural address and gave a talk on Network Security. A total of 23 participants were selected from various colleges all over India. They presented their different perspectives on most prominent research areas of computing. The conference concluded with a panel discussion and a feedback session. The Technical Advisory Committee members also gave valuable suggestions.
