RADIEUX (3.0) was inaugurated by Mr.Sunil Balakrishnan, Centre Head - UST Global, Kochi by lighting the lamp on 11th of August 2011, at 09:30 AM in the Cultural Centre. Mr.Sunil Balakrishnan also spoke on this occasion detailing about the future of computing with thrust on Cloud Computing. He also shared us the revolution he has been seeing in the field of Information Technology, where he started his career on Mainframe Computers and later on moved to projects with the Visual Basic and Powerbuilder technologies. The talk was very much impressive and was attracted by the enthusiastic audience who were technically savvy.The theme of RADIEUX 3.0 is "GLOBAL VILLAGE". The term "Global Village" is mostly used as a metaphor to describe the Internet and World Wide Web.On the Internet, physical distance is even less of a hindrance to the real-time communicative activities of people, and therefore social spheres are greatly expanded by the openness of the web and the ease at which people can search for online communities and interact with others that share the same interests and concerns. Therefore, this technology fosters the idea of a conglomerate yet unified global community.Events at Radieux 3.0 are 1. FINAL ENTERNADOR (Best Manager). 2. CODEFICARE (C Debugging). 3. The inaugural session was presided over by Prof.(Dr.).T.V Babu Rajendran, Director (Academic & Research), Saintgits College of Engineering. The welcome speech was delivered by Ms.Chitra Sasikumar, Project Manager to RADIEUX 3.0. The Chief Guest of the day Mr.Sunil Balakrishnan was introduced to the august assemblage by Prof.Koshy Varghese, Head - Department of Computer Applications. Principal Prof.(Dr.) M.C Philipose gave a felicitation message. The vote of thanks was offered by Mr.Subin K.Thomas, Assistant Project Manager. The audience was comprised of - all students of M.C.A course, Third Semester Computer Science & Engineering Students and almost 220 participants from various technical institutions State-wide who had come to Saintgits to participate in the various events attached with RADIEUX 3.0. The Inaugural Session was concluded by 10:45 AM. |

MCA @ SAINTGITS in association with SMART hosted a one-day National Level Intercollegiate Technical Extravaganza, RADIUEX 2.0 on Wednesday, 15th September 2010. The annual event was an arena for students from various Engineering and Arts & Science colleges and given an opportunity to showcase their technical and manegerial talents. The theme of RADIEUX 2.0 is "GREEN IT". Green IT is the study and practice of using computing resources efficiently. It is known for its broader, economy-wide capacity for energy saving and potential to effect rapid and profound change across every facet of government, industry and consumers.
Events at Radieux 2.0 are 1. Green Server (Digital Video Making) 2. Green Hunt (Treasure Hunt) 3. Explore Green (Best Manager) 4. Green Tracing (Code War) 5. Big Green Gators (Mathmania)
The chief guest of Radieux 2.0 was Mr. Rajeev Rajasekhara Panicker, Sr. Project Manager, Infosys Technologies Ltd. Marian college Kuttikanam bagged the overall championship and the feedbacks received on the New events "Mathmania" and "Digital Video Making" were highly positive and encouraging. |

Radieux1.0, a National Level Inter Collegiate Technical Extravaganza organized by MCA @ SAINTGITS on 31st July 2009 and 1st of August 2009. It churns out the veiled flairs of computer students in an ever imaginative manner. It is a great way of interacting with the best brains of Kerala through the various technical events hosted by the MCA students. This tech fest was inaugurated by Mr. George Abraham, CTO-UN Pension Fund. The events included Paper Presentation, Treasure hunt, Quiz, Word Hunt, C-Debugging, Web Designing, IT Extempore and Creative Editing. | |

Around 300 participants from all over Kerala visited our campus. The IT exhibition was also a big hit and +2 students from two schools (SD Seminary Higher Secondary School, Kottayam and Jerusalem Mount Higher Secondary School, Vakathanam), in addition to our students visited the exhibition stall. There was also a technical video presentation which was attended by those who visited the stall. All the competitions were of high standard and many expressed their happiness in having got the opportunity to participate in Radiex 1.0. |
