To awaken the students to the need & expectations of  the prevailing job market and  convert them  into a pool of industry-ready force  and help them get  placed  in industries, research organizations or Small scale entrepreneurial( self employment) realms focusing on  moulding   them  into a versatile personality with life skills   leading to a  perfect professional growth.

Vision

Contribute to the SAITGITS' corporate vision - to further the national eminence & international visibility by  ensuring  alumnus working for all national industry majors and  by improving upon international placements making use of high quality faculty, academic freedom, research culture respecting SAINTGITS' value system with trust and empowerment at all levels.

Objective

1. Lend  career guidance for all students and ensure career choice for all eligible  aspirants within an year of pass out.
2. Aim  seventy percentage placement in the campus and the thirty percentage off-campus.
3. Aim reducing  the off  campus  placements  to nil within  next  ten  years  ( by 2020) at  a proportional rate of  three  percentage(group recruitments is also treated as an on campus event).

Leadership & Purpose

The SAINTGITS Placement Division operates from the Administrative Block ( AdminBlock) of SAINTGITS College of Engg, headed by the Resident TPO and supported by an independent off- Campus TPO stationed at Bangalore and the placement Executive. It employs all modern ICT modes & means to be effective in training and placement events to the satisfaction of different classes of national & international recruiters. .SAINGITS is considered most campus-friendly by all known recruiters for its warmth & commendable placement utilities. It has tailor-made echo proof GD rooms, Corporate discussion room, A/C seminar hall, Cultural centre, Interview cubicles and vast Lecture Halls suitable for conducting written test. Its heritage guest house provides the recruitment Team with a unique village touch & relax. Placement division is autonomous and enjoys support from all departments including its regional centers: Chennai, Bangalore & Dubai. The placement activities in the campus are supported by the respective staff & student representatives, in rotation, and occupy prominent roles in administering each test processes.

SAINTGITS, besides the conventional job of preparing the students for the campus placements & other career options, has conceived additional space and framework to

1. Assist & counsel the students to sustain the job/Corporate expectations
2. Track the students' post placement performance & provide proactive support.
3. Foster alumni partnership in the prospective campus placement awareness activities.
4. Bring in an entrepreneurial culture in the campus through Entrepreneurial Development Cell.
5. Motivate the students by adding values, setting standards & assigning due importance to what they learn through a structured residential training sessions/ in-plant visits & trainings / small -small interactive sessions by experts both from Industry & academia As Our Corporate responsibility & social commitment to the student community , SAINTGITS Training & Placement Division take initiatives to be a common forum for Recruiters & Students of nearby associated Colleges.

Under our social Responsibility Several combined campus recruitments like TCS , LIC, INDIAN NAVY , INDIAN ARMY, Apprentice Selection by BAT ,Chennai, GoI. etc are carried out with the support of nearby colleges. Many out side students have availed this facility and successfully got placed.
