Admission is purely on Merit basis.

Rank List is prepared on the basis of index mark obtained with 25:75 weightage for the percentage marks obtained in the Common Engineering Entrance Examination – 2017, Govt. of Kerala and percentage marks obtained for Physics, and Mathematics in 12th Standard. The marks obtained in State Board/CBSE/ICSE for each subject are normalized with reference to the maximum marks obtained in that subject.

Saintgits B. Tech. scholarships schemes for the year:

  1. Those who have secured 500 and above score in Kerala entrance exam and admitted under management quota are eligible to study Government Engineering college tuition fee only.
  2. Scholarship of Rs.25,000/- per year for students scoring 80% and above aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for CBSE/ICSE and 85% and above marks for state board
  3. Scholarships of Rs.50,000/- per year for management quota students scoring more than 90% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for CBSE, ICSE and state board examinations
  4. Full Tuition Fee waiver scholarship for Kerala Entrance Exam Rank upto 7500 and for students with 95% and above marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for CBSE . ICSE and state board.
  5. Merit-cum-means scholarship upto Rs.50,000/- in deserving cases.

Please note:-

1. During Counselling Candidates will have to select a particular branch based on the rank and availability of seats in Management Quota and, on submission of the required documents & DD they will be provisionally admitted to the institution.

2. Candidates can furnish their final higher options to be included in the waiting list at the time of counselling and further allotment will be made from their higher options furnished. Those who take seat in a branch according to availability which is not their preference can also register for such higher options to be included in the waiting list of his preferred branch. Further allotment for the vacancy arising due to cancellation will be filled from the waiting List till government counseling starts.

3. Date of Subsequent rounds of open counselling will be communicated through this website and applicants can take part in such rounds for any further vacancy.

Documents to be furnished at the time of open counselling and allotment

  1. SSLC/ Secondary Examination certificate in original for proof of age with one copy.
  2. Downloaded copy of Mark list of Plus II or Equivalent
  3. Downloaded copy of Result sheet of the Common Entrance Examination(KEAM) 2017
  4. Passport size photos(4 numbers)
  5. Demand Draft from any bank for Rs. 10000/- favoring “Saintgits College of Engineering” payable at Kottayam or Cash

Please Note :

Demand Draft for balance fee favouring SAINTGITS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING payable at Kottayam or chalan copy of Cash payments at SIB counter at the College Campus is to be handed over to college office with in 3 working days after allotment. If not paid , the seat will be cancelled and allotted to candidates in the Waiting List.

Documents to be furnished before enrolment

  1. Mark List and Pass Certificate (where applicable) of Plus II /or Equivalent in original with one copy.
  2. Admit card of Entrance Examination in original.
  3. Rank Data Sheet issued by Entrance Commissioner.
  4. Physical fitness certificate in the format provided in the CEE prospectus –Annexure XVII. (Page 85 of KEAM 2017 Prospectus).
  5. Transfer Certificate in original from the Institution last studied.
  6. Conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied.
  7. Migration certificate in original for students other than those passed Kerala PLUS 2, VHSE & THSE.
  8. Eligibility Certificate from appropriate authority for students other than those passed Kerala PLUS 2, VHSE, CBSE, ICSE, THSE.

Please Note:

For their later use, candidates are advised to take sufficient photo copies of certificates submitted.
