About Programme

This programme develops knowledge and proficiency in electronics and instrumentation field.It also enables the student to analyze and solve real life problems by logical thinking. On going through the programme, he acquires skills to identify state of art techniques and to select resources/tools needed for a successful career. 

Apart from basic knowledge of Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical subjects, the students learn Robotics, Mechatronics, Biomedical, Artificial Intelligence, Computerised Process Control ,Control Systems, Digital Signal Processing etc. These courses also help them to design, develop and fabricate various electronic related accessories. The department provides students with sound theoretical & practical training in the operation and design of electronic instruments, digital logic systems, and computer based automatic process control.

 

   

 

Another highlight of this programme in the department is that students become industry ready by undergoing training in the following unique facilities:

->National Instruments LabVIEW Academy  for hands on training  in Control and Automation,
->The only ANSYS Multi-physics Campus in Kerala with globally accepted ANSYS certification in Design.
->Fab Lab and IoT Lab supported by Kerala Startup mission for fabricating their products.
->SAINTGITS Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship helps to develop patentable products and inculcate entrepreneurial skills.
